The Launch of the MINI Cooper in the USA
|
|
The
NCAA's annual competition between 64 college basketball teams to crown a national champion in the USA is called March Madness because the three-week-long event is held during the month of March.
The 16 remaining college basketball teams will battle it out in a series of regional contests, leading to the Final Four showdown on March
30.
But there is another game in town as BMW prepares for the USA launch of the MINI Cooper on March 22.
So here is BMW World's version of March Madness, featuring Classic Mini:

MINI will be sold in the U.S. starting March 22 using a separate retail network comprised of approximately 70 dealerships.
Each MINI dealer will have a sales environment and staffing exclusively dedicated to the MINI franchise.
MINI will be represented in the U.S. by the MINI Cooper and MINI Cooper S, with MSRP of $16,850 and $19,850 respectively
(including destination charges).
More Mini Happenings:
On the weekends of March 30-31, April 6-7, and April 13-14, visitors to the
Terence Conran Shop, located at 59th Street and 1st Avenue in Manhattan will be able to
preview all aspects of the MINI brand - including the all-new MINI Cooper, a history wall showing MINI's rich heritage, and a selection from MINI's new MotoringGear(tm) collection. They will also be invited to take part in competitions to win
prizes such as a MINI for a 4-day weekend, $500 worth of MotoringGear(tm) and a $250 gift certificate for The Terence Conran Shop.
The Terence Conran Shop along with Conran's Guastavino's restaurant and bar--forms the core of the Bridgemarket complex, an extraordinary redevelopment in a
long-neglected part of Manhattan's East Side.
