MINI makes
its North American debut at the 2001 Detroit International Auto Show!

The American
press has not been kind to the MINI. One review from the recent Detroit
auto show noted the crowds flocking to the MINI exhibit, but then asked
"will it sell"?
Maybe the
reviewer should have asked the crowds why there was so much interest in a
model half the size of many American brands.
There is Magic in
MINI,
and we predict there will be a brisk market for the 25,000 estimated
models destined for American shores.
