BMW
World has caught up with Santa Claus! He was seen on the streets of Germany
piloting a shiny red C1.
Here
is the story...
At its annual meeting on November 31st in St. Clause, the German Society of Father Christmases passed a resolution on the test use of a BMW C1 as part of a pilot project.
After the successful deployment of the BMW C1 in several German police departments, the German Father Christmases now want to test the benefits of this engine-powered two-wheeler in practice. In view of the many traffic jams in cities during the run-up to Christmas and the frequently disastrous lack of parking space in front of the houses of children due to receive presents, the association has been toying with the idea of using engine-powered two-wheel vehicles for some time. The use of scooters or motorcycles would have meant that protective helmets would have to be worn, however, and the occupational regulations for German Father Christmases stipulate that the classic red hood must be worn as part of the red St. Nicholas cape. Thanks to its unique safety concept, the BMW C1 can be worn without a protective helmet.

With the BMW C1, a vehicle is now available which not only significantly increases gift levels due to its agility and minimal parking space requirements - thereby considerably stimulating Christmas
trade - it will also secure absolute Father Christmas Corporate Identity, avoiding any conflict with Father Christmas regulations.
C1 accessories are tailored perfectly to the needs of the Father Christmases. As well as the C1
aluminum case for business people, BMW now also offers the C1 Father Christmas sack and whip holder next to the mobile phone holder.
Heated handles and seat keep St. Nicholas in a good mood. The reading light in the roof of the C1 makes it easier for him to read the children's addresses, and the Fun Audio System allows him to play Christmas carols for all to hear.
