At BMW World,
our viewers have shown more interest in the new 2001
M3 than any other BMW model we cover.
So
what better model to feature for our first Picture of the Week than the
2001 M3.
Here are several photos for you of the E46 M3 as seen in a
new, striking color.

This photo has
been featured on the cover of an M3
brochure. And why not? Breaking out of the fog with xenon lights blazing,
casting a powerful shadow, the new M3 has a dramatic face. Read all about it on
our brochure page.

The
new M3 the way most of us will see it, from the rear. With a 330+ hp
engine, it has the power to be in front, on the race track or on the
highway. From this angle we can see the dual rear exhausts, the sport
wheels, the engine vent gills, and the stylish roofline. |

Oh
boy, a curve in the road! |
|
 |
You
may choose not to use it, but the new M3 has Dynamic Stability Control
(DSC) as standard equipment. Just press the "Sport" button and
head for the curves. |

The
new M3 the way the wind sees it. With an extremely low drag coefficient,
the air has little chance to escape. And the air it meets is funneled
thoughtfully to the engine and the brakes, keeping both ready to go. |
|
 |
Here's
what makes it go, the new M3 straight-six engine. With electronic
throttles, double VANOS and free-flow exhaust, there should be ample
power for any drive. |
