In the event of a severe frontal impact, automatic safety belt tensioners automatically tighten the lap and shoulder belts around front-seat occupants.

The system will "cinch" the belt tighter to help reduce slack. This provides better occupant protection as well as additional space for the airbag deployment.

Always wear your safety belt and always place children in the rear seat.
