Bmw Brake Hose

We know a good shop nearby that specializes in older BMWs. When they take in a vehicle, they always perform a couple of maintenance operations before anything else: The oil and filter are changed, the fuel filter is changed, and the BMW Brake Hose are swapped out. The first two may seem like common knowledge, but what about the last one? You only have to lose a BMW brake hose once to make it part of your maintenance schedule. See, most of your brake lines are metal and basically last the life of your car. But where the brake line travels to the caliper, it needs to flex, and a short rubber BMW brake hose is used in these locations.

Rubber hoses are great, for a while. But as time goes by, they tend to swell and degrade from the brake fluid. All it takes is one hard braking event and a marginal BMW brake hose, and you've lost half your brakes. Fortunately, dual-circuit braking keeps the other half in working order, but it's still not a fun experience. Brake hoses are relatively inexpensive and readily-available, so if you've got a BMW with more than 75,000 miles on it, or one that hasn't had regular brake fluid flushes, replace the BMW brake hoses as a matter of safety.
