For all the whiz-bang developments in in-car entertainment, the majority of us still use good old-fashioned FM radio for most of our listening enjoyment. Without a good BMW Antenna pulling in the signal, though, you're left without even that option. An antenna simply acts as a conduit for the weak radio waves floating through space to travel to the FM decoder and amplifier. The result is music to your ears, assuming, as before, that your BMW antenna works--or even exists.
