model is available in a conventional rear-wheel
drive sedan, coupe, convertible,
or in the 330xi all-wheel drive touring model.
The all-wheel drive system has the All Season Traction (AST) control system and a planetary center differential. The torque distribution of 38% to the front wheels and 62% to the rear wheels provides excellent
handling by minimizing the torque effects on the front wheels. The standard Dynamic Stability Control (DSC-X) system, specially calibrated for all-wheel drive, enhances maneuverability.
