BMW World - 1999 Model Information

3 Series

In the 1999 model year, the 323i and 328i Sedans received a complete redesign. The new body style is E46. The 318i Sedan and the 318ti Coupe were discontinued, leaving the 318ti Sport as the only remaining 4-cylinder 3 Series model. A 323i Sedan was added to the product line, rounding out the 323 series introduced in 1998. The M3 Sedan was discontinued, but the M3 Convertible was added.
