the year the 325 returned to the BMW stable. The 2.5 liter
DOHC 24-valve inline 6-cylinder engine graced both the 323i
Convertible and the 325is Coupe. The 1.9 liter DOHC 16-valve
4-cylinder remained in the 318i Sedan and the 318ti Coupe, but
the 318i Convertible and the 318is Coupe were discontinued in
1998.
