Design |
The exterior of the X5 HP resembles the
prototype X5 LeMans,
first seen here at BMW World.
The location of the fog lights and
the overall contour of the front end has been borrowed from the X5
LeMans prototype.
The front end has been softened with
the addition of a protective bottom bumper strip. The center cut out
below the distinctive BMW split grill allows a large area for cooling
air. The fog lights are poised in a recess below the headlights, above
the long rubber strip holding the license plate, which separates the
bumper parts.
