Following the the X5
4.0, the X5 4.4is and the X5 3.0i, the X5 3.0d is the
newest member of the BMW Sports Activity Vehicle family.
The BMW X5 3.0d features the 3.0
liter diesel engine from the 330d Sedan.

Like other X5 models, the X5 3.0d features a unitary body, independent suspension and DSC.
DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) is an advanced electronic suspension control system.
In addition to DSC, X5 models have ADB (Automatic Differential Brake) and HDC (Hill Descent
Control) systems.
The X5 also comes with a high-performance brake system that provides stopping power and deceleration equal to that of a 7 Series Sedan.

The X5 3.0d combines the virtues of a sports activity vehicle with the superior economy of a powerful
diesel.
The X5 3.0d develops a maximum output of 135 kW/184 bhp and maximum torque of 410 Nm/302 lb-ft from BMW’s DI straight-six.
Acceleration from 0–100 km/h is in 10.5
seconds. The top speed is 200 km/h.
Fuel economy is
excellent, with the common rail engine consuming only 9.7 liters/100 km under the EU standard, equaling 29.1 mpg Imp.
