The 3.0CSi, the most popular CS Coupe, was produced starting in the fall of 1971.
The 3.0CSi was a 3.0CS with Bosch electronic fuel injection. Having a 9.5:1 compression ratio and adjustments
to valve timing, the six-cylinder produced 200 hp at 5500 rpm.

Happy, '70s Couples
Although carbureted cars were still available, the lure of a 137 mph top speed made this model very attractive.
BMW prepared a number of these coupes for Group 2 sedan racing.
