Following
on the heels of the 1800ti/sa,
the 2002 burst upon the scene to lead BMW's motorsport campaign.
The 2002 put BMW on the map in North America. In 1968, several
enthusiastic 2002 owners formed the BMW Car Club of America (BMW CCA),
which has grown to be the largest independent BMW club in the world, with
more than 46,000 members.
BMW CCA recently established a nationwide club
racing program for its members competing in BMWs or BMW-powered cars.
