The Evolution of the MINI Cooper S

A concept version of the MINI Cooper was first seen in 1997 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The designs shown here were created by Frank Stephenson in October 1998. He first penned MINI designs in 1995.

Frank comments on the Design:

"The MINI Cooper is not a retro design car, but an evolution of the original. It has the genes and many of the key characteristics of its predecessor, but is larger, more powerful, more muscular and more exciting than its predecessor ever was".
