"In terms of
performance, driving dynamics and luxurious comfort, the BMW 760Li
will set new standards in the 12-cylinder luxury sedan segment,
significantly outperforming its competitors also in terms of fuel
economy", says BMW's Dr Burkhard Göschel. |
|
|
The
7 Series BMW 760Li is the
first BMW to feature direct gasoline injection supplementing VALVETRONIC technology. |

The all-new V12
aluminum engine in with a 60° configuration will displace 6.0
liters, develop maximum output of more than 408 bhp and maximum
torque of approximately 442 lb-ft. |
|
|
The new 12-cylinder
features VALVETRONIC and four-valve technology with fully variable
bi-VANOS camshaft control. |
|
|
 |
 |
| |
The new engine is
mated to an equally powerful transmission, the world's first
production six-speed automatic. It uses shift-by-wire technology and
is operated by an all-new selector behind the steering wheel.
|
|
|
This innovative
drivetrain yields outstanding performance with a 0 - 60 mph time of
5.9 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph. |

The new 7 combines a
new all-aluminum suspension with Active Roll Stabilization. ARS
improves handling by combining special sensors with two active
anti-roll bars to reduce body "roll" or "lean." |

But--like us--you may
especially enjoy the inside of the vehicle, where you can watch
Formula One racing and enjoy your favorite beverage with the optional
refrigerator. |
