The new
Mini is featured in the Austin Powers movie, Goldmember.
The Mini makes a big screen appearance in the new Austin Powers film.
BMW's hot new car appears in a number of high-speed chases during
the third installment of the spoof secret agent movie due out later this
year.
In one
scene, Mike Myers, the veteran British actor, is shown reassuring his
on-screen son about the Mini: "It's not size that matters, but how you
use it."

New Line Cinema, the producers of the new movie, had a dispute with the owners of the
James Bond
name over the use of the word "Goldmember"
in the title.
MGM and Danjaq, the British company that controls the film license for
James Bond property, had obtained an order in January
prohibiting New Line from calling the movie "Austin Powers in Goldmember."
MGM disapproved of the title's double entendre, a takeoff on the 1964
Bond classic "Goldfinger".
