From June 1 to October 31, 2000, a universal World Exposition is taking place in Hannover, Germany. BMW World was there!

Past world expositions focused on technical advances with symbols such as the Eiffel Tower in Paris. By contrast, the EXPO 2000 theme "Humankind - Nature - Technology" will show how the world can tackle the many challenges that the future presents with a series of exhibits:

The Projects: Expo 2000 Worldwide
Projects in Germany and all over the world will be integrated into the EXPO happenings in Hannover to create a multi-faceted picture of our opportunities in the 21st century.

EXPO 2000 is the official internet site of the world's fair and exposition, hosted and organized by Germany for the first time in history. The site presents all of the main themes and all the participating countries. Available in 10 different languages.
