MINI
pumps up the volume with the new Digital Power Sound Module
The Digital Power Sound Module (DPSM) is the latest and loudest
addition to MINI's range of in-car entertainment accessories.
Approximately three times more powerful than the average home stereo,
the DPSM has a full range digital amplifier that kicks out an awesome
660 watts of power.

660 watts of power and 6 speakers
With a whisper measuring around 30 decibels, normal conversation
approximately 60 decibels and screams from a concert crowd reaching
126 decibels¹, the DPSM's ability to produce 128 decibels of sound
through its six high performance speakers make it the ultimate in-car
accessory for music-mad MINI owners, who like their tunes played loud
and clear. Trevor
Houghton-Berry, General Manager MINI UK said, "The addition of DPSM to
MINI's extensive list of accessories gives MINI owners even greater
scope to personalise their car. MINI may be a small car but it thinks
big, and in the case of the DPSM, loud."
The Digital Power Sound Module is a retro-fit accessory and is priced
at £995 including fitting. It can only be fitted in conjunction with
Radio BOOST².
The Digital Power Sound Module is
on sale in the UK from 20th October and is available from any official
MINI dealership.

Party in the Park concert in Hyde Park, London, a scream by the crowd
was measured at 126.3 decibels. (Source, Guinness Book of World
Records.)
² Radio Boost costs
£140.00 as a factory fitted option.
Radio Boost can be retrofitted. An upgrade from Radio WAVE to Radio
BOOST costs from £350.00. Radio BOOST must be fitted in order to have
DPSM. DPSM does
not affect MINI tlc.
DPSM has a three-year warranty and is fully approved by MINI UK. |
