About Carver Technology
Bob Carver founded Carver Corporation in 1978. Featuring the latest in audio technology, his products set the standard for
high-end systems:
- Carver preamplifiers had "Sonic Holography", or interaural crosstalk cancellation.
- Carver amplifiers had Magnetic Field power supplies.
- Carver tuners and receivers had the Asymmetrical Charge-Coupled FM detector.
- Carver "t-mods" were affordable solid-state amplifiers modified to match the sonic character of ultra-expensive high-end amplifiers like Mark Levinson, Conrad Johnson and Carver's own
Silver Seven.
In 1994, Bob Carver left the company he founded to start Sunfire Corporation, but the legacy of Carver's passion for high-end audio systems is carried on at Carver Corporation.
